Rope Meditations

There is only one task worth a life:

making a word,

translating a gate.

Writing is where the practice is turned over slowly enough to listen to what remains after the session, the performance, or the encounter has passed.

This page gathers texts, notes, and traces of thought from an ongoing inquiry into rope, attention, language, and form. Each entry is drawn from the English Substack archive and the Japanese Note archive.
